Animal will feature Ranbir Kapoor as a menacing and brooding character. In the film’s announcement video, the actor discussed the tumultuous relationship between his father and the character he plays in the film. Ranbir says the same thing in the same clip: “Please forgive me for interrupting you, papa, but I’m going to tell you something right now. Until then, I’d like to know how to express my feelings for you and how to express my feelings for you to you. Due to the fact that this is the only time of the year when Beta and Papa are able to have vapis. My heart is empty, but my father’s heart is full of love for him. So, what’s going on here with your family, papa? As far as I’m concerned, that’s all there is to it.” At the end of the video, there were several gunshots heard.
Ranbir Kapoor, after experimenting with a variety of roles in films like Barfi, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Rockstar, Tamasha, Jagga Jasoos, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani, Sanju, and many others, is now ready to go commercial. Throughout Shamshera’s promotion, the actor has stated his desire to work on films that are best viewed on the big screen. He has two projects in the works for 2023: a comedy with Luv Ranjan and an action film with Sandeep Reddy Vanga called “Animal,” which will be released after Brahmastra, the mega-budget modern mythology film that follows Shamshera in 2019.
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, the actor revealed that he is eager to take on negative roles and is currently on the lookout for suitable roles. That’s what Ranbir said “My current project is Animal by Sandeep Vanga. It’s a jarring character with a lot of grey areas.” A statement from the actor states that he has already begun filming Animal and will soon undergo a body transformation for the Kabir Singh director’s next project.
“Brahmastra will be out in two months, so I’m going to take some time off to work on myself,” Ranbir says. “I am looking forward to Animal because the script is completely out of my comfort zone.” I’m apprehensive but also giddy with anticipation.”
For Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan are reportedly in talks. Does Ranbir have a role in the movie? After Animal, what else does he have planned for us?
