From the Editor’s Desk The future of iPhone is going big

Not a week, not a month has passed! It’s true, it’s April already! It seems like the time is flying by. Let’s just say that most April Fools’ jokes are quite stupid.Although it has been a slow week for news, there are some interesting iPhone rumors. The iPhone 14 Pro will be larger. The reason I am concerned about the camera bump is its potential interference with certain MagSafe accessories. For example, my PopSockets PopGrip to MagSafe. I am afraid that a bigger camera bump won’t do me any favors.
iPhone 16 and beyond
Other iPhone rumors include that the underdisplay Touch ID iPhone won’t be available until 2025 (so that would mean the iPhone 16), while Apple might be already testing a foldable device. It’s been years since Apple implemented Face ID and touch ID on the iPhone. This rumor makes me sad. It’s nice to have both biometrics, but I do like the extra security. That foldable device rumor intrigues me.
Although I was initially skeptical about the possibility of a foldable iPhone , I have since come to terms with it. It could be fun, and it opens up new possibilities if it’s done correctly. The rumor suggests that the fold is more vertical than horizontal, which isn’t what I was hoping for. However, we will find out in a few more years.
It is possible that the iPhone SE has already been declared dead.
The iPhone SE (2022) has just been released, but it is far from being the best iPhone. It’s actually a significant downgrade for most people. White German Shepherd Husky The new iPhone SE’s target audience is not you and me — it’s your grandparents and parents and anyone else who doesn’t want to move from the Home button.
Although the iPhone SE is a great upgrade to its predecessor, it’s still quite outdated. Apple has reportedly slashed production of the iPhone SE already . This is why it’s not surprising that Apple does so. Although the phone’s internals have been updated, it still packs a lot of old technology into a five-year-old body.
Apple seems to have made many units and the phones are not selling as well as they hoped. Therefore, production has been slowed down. It’s not clear that the price hike helped. Give it another week, and you might see some sharp price drops across the board.
s dive in.The 48-megapixel
camera is the most prominent camera bump. Although I doubt Apple would go so high considering we have only 12MP over the last several years, the iPhone photographer in my heart is salivating! Android phones have had high-megapixel counts for some time now. I’m sure our Android Central colleagues would laugh at the iPhone getting more megapixels. But it would be great to see.
A higher megapixel count doesn’t necessarily make you a better photographer, but it would allow me to print my photos at a higher resolution. If Apple goes this route, I will believe it when it comes to printing my photos.
